Trip To Medan

A very good day to all the readers. As you can see on the tittle above, today i'm gonna tell about my short trip about a week in Medan, Indonesia.

First of all, I didn't plan to go to Medan but thinking of I do have  friends who live in Medan and he might help me during my stay. So I just booked the flight ticket right after I contacted a friend of mine in Medan.

I'm so lucky because at that time Malaysia Airlines currently running a promotion campaign and it costs me only RM 200 (Ringgit Malaysia) from Kuala Lumpur to Medan return ticket.

It was a budget trip for me because I just bring about RM 300 for a week. But then I manage to spend according to my budget.

So, let's see what I did in Medan below.

Arrived in Kuala Namu airport.

Place to Visit

The oldest mosque in Medan 'Masjid Raya Medan', built in 1906 in the Moroccan style by Dutch architect A.J. Dingemans. Located at Jalan Sisingamangaraja.

Historical place, Maimoon Palace. Built in years 1887-1891, where the Sultan of Deli still lives but he no longer holds any official power.

What to Eat?

Nasi Gureh. You can find it in the local stall. I ate this during breakfast.

Food that i always look for if i'm craving for taste on Indonesian, Nasi Ayam Penyet.
